Organic Polariton Lasing and the Weak to Strong Coupling Crossover [PDF]

open access: greenPhysical Review Letters, 2018
Following experimental realizations of room temperature polariton lasing with organic molecules, we present a microscopic model that allows us to explore the crossover from weak to strong matter-light coupling. We consider a non-equilibrium Dicke-Holstein model, including both strong coupling to vibrational modes and strong matter-light coupling ...

Crossover from weak to strong coupling regime in dispersive circuit QED [PDF]

open access: yesEurophysics Letters (EPL), 2007
We study the decoherence of a superconducting qubit due to the dispersive coupling to a damped harmonic oscillator. We go beyond the weak qubit-oscillator coupling, which we associate with a phase Purcell effect, and enter into a strong coupling regime ...

The Density of Recombination-Associated Genomic Features Does Not Generally Explain the Broad-Scale Crossover Patterns in Chicken and Guinea Fowl [PDF]

open access: yesAnimals
Meiotic recombination is essential for chromosomal segregation and facilitates the exchange between homologs, which leads to the transmission of new combinations of linked alleles to the progeny.

Spin-1/2 fermions: crossover from weak to strong attractive interaction

open access: green, 2004
The formation and dissociation of bosonic molecules in an optical lattice, formed by spin-1/2 fermionic atoms, is considered in the presence of an attractive nearest-neighbor interaction. A mean-field approximation reveals three different phases at zero temperature: an empty, a condensate and a Mott-insulating phase.

Mirative focalization: A case study of Mandarin lian-DP dou construction

open access: yesLingBaW, 2023
The paper investigates Mandarin lian-DP dou construction (aka. ‘even’-construction) in terms of the following controversial aspects – i.e., the contributions of the syntactically indispensable elements lian ‘even’ and dou ‘all’, and the syntactic ...

Controlling the strong light-matter coupling in metal-dielectric optical resonators using spin-crossover molecules [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2023
We report the observation of (ultra)strong light-matter coupling, in the UV spectral region, between optical modes of a metal/dielectric bilayer nanocavity and the electronic excitations of spin-crossover (SCO) molecules.

Weak integrability breaking and level spacing distribution

open access: yesSciPost Physics, 2021
Recently it was suggested that certain perturbations of integrable spin chains lead to a weak breaking of integrability in the sense that integrability is preserved at the first order in the coupling.
