Weak localization and crossover from Lifshitz transition in two dimensions
Physical Review B, 2021Dirac point plays a crucial role in regulating electronic properties of topological semimetals. In two dimensions, the manipulation of Dirac points can spur a transition from Dirac semimetal through semi-Dirac phase to a gapped phase. Across such a so-called Lifshitz transition, we find that the quantum interference corrections to the conductivity ...

Weak to strong pinning crossover in Hg-1201
Physica C: Superconductivity and its Applications, 2006Abstract We report on detailed investigations of the mixed state in the mercury based high- T c superconductor HgBa 2 CuO 4 (Hg-1201) by means of ac and dc magnetization measurements. Over large parts of the B – T phase diagram the vortex mobility turned out to be remarkably high.

Strong-Field Saturation Spectroscopy of Weak Hyperfine Crossover Resonances
Europhysics Letters (EPL), 1989We show that, thanks to a controlled use of strong laser fields in hyperfine spectroscopy of molecules, it is possible to record the crossover resonances between allowed ΔF = ΔJ lines and ΔF ≠ ΔJ lines which are very weak for high J lines. A demonstration experiment on the Q(45)A22 line of the ν3 band of SF6 yields very accurate values of the spin ...

Locative Inversion, PP Topicalization, and Weak Crossover in English
Journal of Linguistics, 2021The literature on locative inversion in English currently disputes whether locative inversion differs from PP topicalization in permitting a quantifier in the fronted PP to bind a pronoun in the subject. In order to resolve this dispute, this paper runs two experiments on Amazon Mechanical Turk, one an acceptability judgment task and the other a forced-

Crossover between weak and strong coupling in 2D superconductors
Journal of Superconductivity, 1997We study the crossover between weak coupling and strong coupling in two-dimensional (2D) superconductors atT⊋0 in the weak coupling regime, described by the BCS state, and we calculate the order parameter and the chemical potential atT=0 andT⊋0 for the model of a 2D superconductor.

Crossover from weak to strong Kondo behaviour in CeAl2
Physics Letters A, 1986Abstract High pressure electrical resistance experiments performed on a single crystal of CeAl2 allow one to determine a characteristic line in the pressure-temperature plane where a continuous passage from weak to strong Kondo behaviour is observed. This line is not associated with any sizeable volume anomaly as shown by X-ray experiments.

Crossover from weak to strong coupling superconductivity in multi-band systems
Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 2010The study of superconductivity in correlated systems is an exciting area of condensed matter physics. In this paper we consider superconducting ground states in systems described by two-band models with different effective masses. These two bands are coupled through an effective hybridization that can be directly tuned by pressure.

Weak localisation and the dimensional crossover in disordered metallic films
Journal of Physics C: Solid State Physics, 1982Corrections to the resistance R of disordered metallic films are studied as a function of film thickness t and temperature. Using a diffusion model introduced recently at Kaveh and Mott (1981), the conditions for dimensional crossover are established. Comparison is made with recent experiments on In2O3-x films.

Bound pronouns and weak crossover
1990This contribution is intended as an attempt to derive the so-called weak crossover phenomena from general principles governing scope assignment and linking of pronouns to referential expressions. It is argued that pronouns do not count as syntactic variables in the unmarked case, since they need not be linked to a c-commanding position in order to be ...

We report transport studies on the 5 nm thick Bi₂Se₃ topological insulator films which are grown via molecular beam epitaxy technique. The angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy data show that the Fermi level of the system lies in the bulk conduction band above the Dirac point, suggesting important contribution of bulk states to the transport ...
