On inversion sets and the weak order in Coxeter groups [PDF]
In this article, we investigate the existence of joins in the weak order of an infinite Coxeter group W. We give a geometric characterization of the existence of a join for a subset X in W in terms of the inversion sets of its elements and their position relative to the imaginary cone.

The MP weak group inverse and its application
In this paper, we introduce a new generalized inverse, called MPWG inverse of a complex square matrix. We investigate characterizations, representations, and properties for this new inverse. Then, by using the core-EP decomposition, we discuss the relationships between MPWG inverse and other generalized inverses. A variant of the successive

Total variation multiscale estimators for linear inverse problems [PDF]
Even though the statistical theory of linear inverse problems is a well-studied topic, certain relevant cases remain open. Among these is the estimation of functions of bounded variation ($), meaning ^1$ functions on a ehBdimensional domain whose weak ...

Sarcoma – correlation between CD73 and PD-L1 and their relationship with prognosis
This study aimed to evaluate CD73 and PD-L1 and determine their relationship with each other and with overall survival (OS) in sarcoma patients. The paraffin blocks of 101 patients were analysed. 56.4% were female, and the mean age was 51.39 years. The

Thyroid cancer incidence trend and association with obesity, physical activity in the United States
Background State-level racial/ethnic and age differences and the temporal trend of thyroid cancer (TC) incidence in the USA remain unknown. Our research purposes include: Characterizing state-level temporal variation in TC incidence; examining the ...

An holomorphic study of Smarandache automorphic and cross inverse property loops [PDF]
By studying the holomorphic structure of automorphic inverse property uasigroups and loops[AIPQ and (AIPL)] and cross inverse property quasigroups and loops[CIPQ and (CIPL)], it is established that the holomorph of a loop is a Smarandache; AIPL, CIPL, K ...

Further characterizations of the $ m $-weak group inverse of a complex matrix
<p>In this paper, we introduce certain different characterizations and several new properties of the $ m $-weak group inverse of a complex matrix. Also, the relationship between the $ m $-weak group inverse and a nonsingular bordered matrix is established as well as the Cramer's rule for the solution of the restricted matrix ...

A decade of invertebrate recruitment at Santa Catalina Island, California [PDF]
Marine fouling communities have long provided model systems for studying the ecology of community development, and settlement plates are the tool of choice for this purpose. Decades of plate deployments provide a baseline against which present-day trends

Amalgamating inverse semigroups over ample semigroups [PDF]
We consider semigroup amalgams (S; T1, T2) in which T1 and T2 are inverse semigroups and S is a non-inverse semigroup. They are known to be non-embeddable if T1 and T2 are both groups (Clifford semigroups), but S is not such. We prove that (S; T1, T2) is
