Entanglement-assisted weak value amplification [PDF]
Large weak values have been used to amplify the sensitivity of a linear response signal for detecting changes in a small parameter, which has also enabled a simple method for precise parameter estimation.

Post-selected weak measurement beyond the weak value [PDF]
Closed expressions are derived for the quantum measurement statistics of pre-and postselected gaussian particle beams. The weakness of the pre-selection step is shown to compete with the non-orthogonality of post-selection in a transparent way.

Reconstructing weak values without weak measurements [PDF]
I propose a scheme for reconstructing the weak value of an observable without the need for weak measurements. The post-selection in weak measurements is replaced by an initial projector measurement.

Power-recycled weak-value-based metrology [PDF]
We improve the precision of the interferometric weak-value-based beam deflection measurement by introducing a power recycling mirror, creating a resonant cavity.

Weak value amplification is suboptimal for estimation and detection [PDF]
We show using statistically rigorous arguments that the technique of weak value amplification (WVA) does not perform better than standard statistical techniques for the tasks of single parameter estimation and signal detection. Specifically we prove that

Technical Advantages for Weak-Value Amplification: When Less Is More
The technical merits of weak-value-amplification techniques are analyzed. We consider models of several different types of technical noise in an optical context and show that weak-value-amplification techniques (which only use a small fraction of the ...

Recent controversy regarding the meaning and usefulness of weak values is reviewed. It is argued that in spite of recent statistical arguments by Ferrie and Combes, experiments with anomalous weak values provide useful amplification techniques for precision measurements of small effects in many realistic situations.

Factorable weak operator-valued frames [PDF]
Let $\mathcal{H}$ and $\mathcal{H}_0$ be Hilbert spaces and $\{A_n\}_n$ be a sequence of bounded linear operators from $\mathcal{H}$ to $\mathcal{H}_0$. The study frames for Hilbert spaces initiated the study of operators of the form $\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}A_n^*A_n$, where the convergence is in the strong-operator topology, by Kaftal, Larson and Zhang in ...

We develop a formal theory of the weak values with emphasis on the consistency conditions and a probabilistic interpretation in the counter-factual processes. We present the condition for the choice of the post-selected state to give a negative weak value of a given projection operator and strange values of an observable in general.
