ON A NEW CLASS OF MULTIVALUED WEAKLY PICARD OPERATORS ON COMPLETE METRIC SPACES

open access: yesTaiwanese Journal of Mathematics, 2015
In the present paper, the concept of nonlinear $F$-contraction formultivalued mappings in metric spaces is introduced and considering the new proof technique, which was used for single valued maps by Wardowski [D. Wardowski, Fixed points of a new type of contractive mappings in complete metric spaces, Fixed Point Theory Appl.

On a broad category of multivalued weakly Picard operators [PDF]

open access: yesFixed Point Theory, 2017
In the present paper, considering a recent technique which is used by Jleli and Samet [10] for fixed points of single-valued maps, we introduce a new concept of multivalued theta-contractions on metric spaces and prove that some of such mappings are multivalued weakly Picard operators on complete metric space.

Some Applications of Weakly Picard Operators

Ninth International Symposium on Symbolic and Numeric Algorithms for Scientific Computing (SYNASC 2007), 2007
In this paper we present some notions and results from the weakly Picard operator theory. Applications to iterates of linear operators are given. Some open problems are also discussed.

On the solution of Steinhaus functional equation using weakly Picard operators

open access: yesFilomat, 2011
In this paper we obtain existence results regarding the solutions g of a Steinhaus type functional equation of the form g(x)+ g(f(x))= F(x), under the significantly weaker assumption that f is a weakly Picard operator. The solutions are given in terms of sums of either convergent series or divergent series but summable by some method of ...

Data dependence of the fixed point set of some multivalued weakly Picard operators

Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2003
The authors study the continuous dependence of the fixed point set of multivalued so-called weakly Picard operators on data, as well as of \(R\)-operators in the sense of \textit{S. Reich} [Boll. Unione Mat. Ital., IV. Ser. 4, 1--11 (1971; Zbl 0219.54042)]. An application to the Uryson type integral inclusion \[ y(t)\in \int^b_a K(t,s,y(s))\,ds+ g(t) \]

Some new fixed point results for multi-valued weakly Picard operators

open access: yesFilomat, 2019
In this paper, we present some extensions of Banach contraction principle for multi-valued maps. Corresponding convergence theorems for the Picard iteration associated to a class of multi-valued operators are obtained in the setting of modular metric spaces.
