Weakly Singular Discrete Gronwall Inequalities

ZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, 1986
AbstractGeneralizations of the classical Gronwall inequality when the kernel of the associated integral equation is weakly singular are presented. The continuous and discrete versions are both given; the former is included since it suggests the latter by analogy.

Eigenvalues of Weakly Singular Integral Operators

Journal of the London Mathematical Society, 1990
We determine the asymptotic order of decay of eigenvalues of weakly singular integral operators, i.e. operators defined by kernels of the form \[ K(x,y)=\frac{L(x,y)(1+| \log \| x-y\| |)^{\gamma}}{\| x-y\|^{N(1-\alpha)}};\quad x,y\in \Omega.

Weakly Singular Equations

2002
In this chapter we discuss some methods for finding approximate solutions of weakly singular integral equations of the Fredholm and Volterra types.

APPROXIMATION OF WEAKLY SINGULAR PLURISUBHARMONIC FUNCTIONS

International Journal of Mathematics, 2011
In this paper we give some properties of the weighted energy class εχ and study the approximation in these classes. We prove that any function in εχ can be approximated by an increasing sequence of plurisubharmonic functions defined on larger domains and with finite χ-energy.

Weakly singular stress-BEM for 2D elastostatics

International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 1999
The authors present a weakly singular stress-BEM in which the linear state regularizing field is extended over the entire surface. The algorithm employs standard \(C(0)\)-elements with Lagrangian interpolations, and uses Gaussian integration without any transformation of integrands other than the usual mapping into the intrinsic space.

Singular points of weakly holomorphic functions

Bulletin des Sciences Mathématiques, 2016
Let \(A \subseteq \mathbb C^m\) be a locally analytic set. A continuous mapping \(f : A \to \mathbb C^n\) is called \textit{c-holomorphic} if its restriction to the subset \(\text{Reg\,} A\) of regular points is holomorphic, which is equivalent to the graph of \(f\) being a locally analytic subset of \(\mathbb C^m \times \mathbb C^n\).
