Cellular-P spaces for some Lindelöf-type properties

open access: yesApplied General Topology
In this paper, we study two classes of topological spaces: cellular-almost Lindelöf spaces and cellular-weakly Lindelöf spaces. We prove that the classes of cellular-Lindelöf, cellular weakly Lindelöf and cellular-almost Lindelöf are distinct.

Bone‐Inspired Recyclable Composites for Damage‐Tolerant Circular Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bone‐inspired architected composites are developed by combining osteon‐like reinforcements with a recyclable Elium thermoplastic matrix. The hierarchical architecture redirects cracks and promotes energy dissipation, while enabling recovery of intact, aligned, load‐bearing reinforcement units that retain their original stiffness, revealing a route ...

Some bounds for the Z-eigenpair of nonnegative tensors

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2019
Tensor eigenvalue problem is one of important research topics in tensor theory. In this manuscript, we consider the properties of Z-eigenpair of irreducible nonnegative tensors. By estimating the ratio of the smallest and largest components of a positive

Bio‐Inspired Artificial Ionic Mechanoreceptor

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A skin‐inspired artificial mechanoreceptor based on ionic interactions is presented for biomimetic tactile sensing. Pressure‐driven ionic redistribution within microfluidic channels generates a self‐powered electrical signal without external bias. The generated waveform exhibits mechanoreceptor‐like temporal features, including overshoot and undershoot,

Kinetics‐Controlled Architecture of Binder‐Free Organic Electrodes for Enhanced Ion Transport

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Pulse reverse electrodeposition controls nucleation and growth to create hierarchically porous Py‐derived oligomeric electrodes with enhanced ionic accessibility and reduced transport resistance. The resulting binder‐free architectures translate these transport advantages into practical sodium‐storage functionality.

Strategyproof and fair matching mechanism for union of symmetric m-convex constraints.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
We identify a new class of distributional constraints defined as a union of symmetric M-convex sets, which can represent a wide range of real-life constraints in two-sided matching settings.

Two new eigenvalue localization sets for tensors and theirs applications

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2017
A new eigenvalue localization set for tensors is given and proved to be tighter than those presented by Qi (J. Symbolic Comput., 2005, 40, 1302-1324) and Li et al. (Numer. Linear Algebra Appl., 2014, 21, 39-50).

Nanoconfinement‐Induced Second‐Harmonic Circular Dichroism via Chirality–Ferroelectric Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Nanoconfinement of a ferroelectric nematic liquid crystal within a chiral nanoporous sponge yields an enhanced second‐harmonic generation circular dichroism (|gSHG–CD| ≈ 1.1). Polarization‐resolved analysis suggests an additional magnetic‐dipole‐associated nonlinear contribution under nanoconfinement, highlighting chirality–ferroelectric coupling as a ...

On weakly sign-symmetric matrices

open access: yesLinear Algebra and its Applications, 1974
AbstractWeakly sign-symmetric matrices have non-negative principal minors and non-negative products of symmetrically placed pairs of almost-principal minors. A necessary condition is proved for such a matrix to have as rank a given positive integer. Several characterizations are given of those weakly sign-symmetric matrices for which the generalized ...

2D Skeletal Muscle Thin Film Actuators Enhance Efficiency of Biohybrid Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
2D skeletal muscle thin film actuators generate millinewton‐scale forces and millimeter‐scale strokes while remaining functional for over 30 days. Their force density is 20‐fold higher than 3D skeletal muscle actuators, enabling multi‐fin robots with tunable speed and multidirectional steering.
