Cellular-P spaces for some Lindelöf-type properties

open access: yesApplied General Topology
In this paper, we study two classes of topological spaces: cellular-almost Lindelöf spaces and cellular-weakly Lindelöf spaces. We prove that the classes of cellular-Lindelöf, cellular weakly Lindelöf and cellular-almost Lindelöf are distinct.

Weakly commensurable arithmetic groups and isospectral locally symmetric spaces [PDF]

open access: yesPublications Mathématiques de l'IHÉS, 2009
The goal of this paper is twofold. First, the authors introduce and analyze a new relationship between (Zariski-dense) abstract subgroups of the groups of \(F\)-rational points of two connected semi-simple algebraic groups defined over a field \(F,\) which they call weak commensurability.

On weakly B symmetric pseudo Riemannian manifolds and its applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
The object of the present paper is to study weakly B symmetric manifolds (WBS)n . At first some geometric properties of (WBS)n (n > 2) have been studied. Finally, we consider (WBS)4 spacetimes.

Little string theories on curved manifolds

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
In this paper, we study the 6d Little String Theory (LST) (the decoupled theory on the worldvolume of N NS5-branes) on curved manifolds, by using its holographic duality to Type II string theory in asymptotically linear dilaton backgrounds.

The Tensor Product Representation of Polynomials of Weak Type in a DF-Space

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
Let E and F be locally convex spaces over C and let P(nE;F) be the space of all continuous n-homogeneous polynomials from E to F. We denote by ⨂n,s,πE the n-fold symmetric tensor product space of E endowed with the projective topology.

Compact Riemannian Manifolds with Homogeneous Geodesics

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2009
A homogeneous Riemannian space (M = G/H,g) is called a geodesic orbit space (shortly, GO-space) if any geodesic is an orbit of one-parameter subgroup of the isometry group G. We study the structure of compact GO-spaces and give some sufficient conditions

On Almost Generalized Weakly Symmetric LP-Sasakian Manifolds

open access: yes, 2017
The purpose of this paper is to introduce the notions of an almost generalized weakly symmetric LP-Sasakian manifolds and an almost generalized weakly Ricci-symmetric LP-Sasakian manifolds.

ON WEAKLY SYMMETRIC AND SPECIAL WEAKLY RICCI SYMMETRIC LP-SASAKIAN MANIFOLDS ADMITTING SEMI-SYMMETRIC SEMI-METRIC CONNECTION [PDF]

open access: yes
The aim of this paper is to study the geometric properties of LP-Sasakian manifolds with respect to Levi-Civita connection when they are weakly symmetric, weakly Ricci symmetric and special weakly symmetric with respect to semi-symmetric semi-metric ...

Weakly Z-symmetric manifolds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We introduce a new kind of Riemannian manifold that includes weakly-, pseudo- and pseudo projective Ricci symmetric manifolds. The manifold is defined through a generalization of the so called Z tensor; it is named weakly Z-symmetric and is denoted by ...

Weakly conformally symmetric manifolds

open access: yes, 2017
We study the properties of weakly conformally symmetric pseudo-Riemannian manifolds, with particular emphasis on the 4-dimensional Lorentzian case. We provide a decomposition of the conformal curvature tensor in dimensions n ≥ 5.
