Weakly almost square Lipschitz-free spaces [PDF]
We construct a Lipschitz-free space that is locally almost square but not weakly almost square; this is the first example of such a Banach space. We also prove a result, which indicates that geodesic metric spaces are a potential metric characterization ...

Cellular-P spaces for some Lindelöf-type properties
In this paper, we study two classes of topological spaces: cellular-almost Lindelöf spaces and cellular-weakly Lindelöf spaces. We prove that the classes of cellular-Lindelöf, cellular weakly Lindelöf and cellular-almost Lindelöf are distinct.

The Tensor Product Representation of Polynomials of Weak Type in a DF-Space
Let E and F be locally convex spaces over C and let P(nE;F) be the space of all continuous n-homogeneous polynomials from E to F. We denote by ⨂n,s,πE the n-fold symmetric tensor product space of E endowed with the projective topology.

On Weakly Symmetric and Weakly Conformally Symmetric Spaces Admitting Veblen Identities [PDF]
In the present paper some properties involving curvature tensor, conformal curvature tensor, Ricci tensor and scalar curvature, on weakly symmetric, weakly conformally symmetric and pseudo symmetric spaces are ...

Artificial molecular machines and motors—Design and control of nanoscale motion
Molecules are constantly moving because of thermal fluctuations, but random motion alone cannot be exploited to perform directional tasks. Artificial molecular machines use chemical, electrical, or light energy to bias this motion. Molecular shuttles, rotary motors, and supramolecular pumps illustrate how nanoscale movement can be controlled and ...

Compact Riemannian Manifolds with Homogeneous Geodesics
A homogeneous Riemannian space (M = G/H,g) is called a geodesic orbit space (shortly, GO-space) if any geodesic is an orbit of one-parameter subgroup of the isometry group G. We study the structure of compact GO-spaces and give some sufficient conditions

On weakly $\phi $-symmetric Kenmotsu Manifolds
summary:The object of the present paper is to study weakly $\phi $-symmetric and weakly $\phi $-Ricci symmetric Kenmotsu manifolds. It is shown that weakly $\phi $-symmetric and weakly $\phi $-Ricci symmetric Kenmotsu manifolds are $\eta ...

Vacuolar H+‐ATPase (V‐ATPase) is a multisubunit rotary proton pump that acidifies intracellular compartments. Using elastic network models, we identified conserved hinge residues that govern its large‐scale functional motions. We show that intrinsically encoded ‘soft modes’ drive critical functional transitions, including rotary catalysis and ...
