Introducing WESAD, a Multimodal Dataset for Wearable Stress and Affect Detection
International Conference on Multimodal Interaction, 2018Affect recognition aims to detect a person's affective state based on observables, with the goal to e.g. improve human-computer interaction. Long-term stress is known to have severe implications on wellbeing, which call for continuous and automated ...

Personal Wearable Computer Systems
Proceedings of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Annual Meeting, 2000While the development of advanced digital communication technologies may tie future workers more and more closely to their computers, these and other emerging technologies can also free future workers from being anchored to a specific physical location.

Wearable design and computing are up to the performance of the wearable device. In this chapter, we introduce the wearable device that comprises eighteen low-cost inertial and magnetic measurement units (IMMUs). It makes up the drawbacks of traditional data glove which only captures incomplete gesture information.
