An Adaptive Open Hypermedia System on the Web

2000
A prototype of an open and adaptive hypertext learning environment on the Web is presented. The nodes of the hypertext system are sorted in clusters which are ordered on a map by a self organizing neural network. This map represents the Information Domain Model on which an overlay model of the learning goal and of the user knowledge is built up.

Opening in Box Web

2018
In this chapter, a flanged box bridge is considered with an opening in the web. Although, in reality, the case requires a three-dimensional stringer-panel model, the discussion is reduced to a two-dimensional problem. The extent of the D-region is commented on, and the equilibrium set of loading is chosen.

Security of open source web applications

2009 3rd International Symposium on Empirical Software Engineering and Measurement, 2009
In an empirical study of fourteen widely used open source PHP web applications, we found that the vulnerability density of the aggregate code base decreased from 8.88 vulnerabilities/KLOC to 3.30 from Summer 2006 to Summer 2008. Individual web applications varied widely, with vulnerability densities ranging from 0 to 121.4 at the beginning of the study.
