Zinc‐Containing Bioactive Glass Programs Macrophage Polarization through Extracellular Traps Regulation for Enhanced Diabetic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Zinc‐containing bioactive glass (ZnBG) promotes diabetic wound healing by regulating macrophage extracellular traps (METs). Specifically, ZnBG reduces oxidative stress and inhibits the PAD4 and NLRP3/caspase‐1/GSDMD signaling pathways, thereby suppressing MET formation.

Autonomous Hydrogel Actuators Programmed by Endogenous Biochemical Logic for Dual‐Stage Morphing and Drug Release

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed BSA–PEGDA bilayer actuator performs biochemical logic, bending autonomously in acid and releasing its drug payload only when both acid and pepsin are present. This dual‐stage, enzyme‐gated mechanism enables autonomous catch‐and‐release motion and controlled gastric drug delivery, representing a programmable soft material powered by ...

Spider Silk–Integrated Biomimetic Micropillars With Dual Adhesion for Improved Wound Hemostasis and Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The patch mimics the dual physicochemical adhesion mechanisms of gecko toe micropillars and spider silk proteins, enabling strong interfacial bonding via partially cured micropillars. Its facile fabrication allows customization for precision medicine, while its motion responsiveness offers potential for real‐time wound monitoring.

Applying web analysis in web page filtering [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 4th ACM/IEEE-CS joint conference on Digital libraries, 2004
Vertical search engines provide Web users with an alternative way to search for information on the Web by providing customized searching in particular domains. However, two issues need to be addressed when developing these search engines: how to locate relevant documents on the Web and how to filter out irrelevant documents from a set of documents ...

Formation of Condition‐Dependent Alpha‐Synuclein Fibril Strain in Artificial Cerebrospinal Fluid

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
α‐synuclein aggregation in artificial cerebrospinal fluid (aCSF) leads to a distinct conformation with an electron density pocket motif found in aggregates from PD and MSA patients. Such fibrils has low stability outside the reaction conditions, hinting about the influence of cerebrospinal fluid components not only on the formation, but also on the ...

An Enhanced Rule-Based Web Scanner Based on Similarity Score

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2016
This paper proposes an enhanced rule-based web scanner in order to get better accuracy in detecting web vulnerabilities than the existing tools, which have relatively high false alarm rate when the web pages are installed in unconventional directory ...

Modifying Glucose Metabolism Reverses Memory Defects of Alzheimer's Disease Model at Late Stages

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using spatial transcriptomics, we show that ferul enanthate (SL‐ZF‐01) reverses episodic‐like memory deficits in aged, but not young, Alzheimer’s disease (AD) mice. SL restores glucose metabolism and Glucose Transporter 1/3 expression via an ‘Aging‐AD‐Rescue’ pattern, rescuing deficits seen in aged AD mice.
