Actionable Forecasting as a Determinant of Biological Adaptation
A new framework reveals how biological systems can achieve precise adaptation by tracking an actionable target that combines the current optimal state with its rate of change. This approach, implemented through dynamics‐informed neural networks, demonstrates that predictive mechanisms like circadian rhythms become beneficial when environmental sensing ...

Quality Improvement of Information Retrieval System Results by Document Classification
In traditional search engines, the most common way to show results for a query is to list documents in order of their computed relevance to the query. However, the ranking is independent of the topic of the document;so the results of different topics are

Analyzing Web Search Behavior for Software Engineering Tasks [PDF]
Web search plays an integral role in software engineering (SE) to help with various tasks such as finding documentation, debugging, installation, etc. In this work, we present the first large-scale analysis of web search behavior for SE tasks using the search query logs from Bing, a commercial web search engine.

Strain localization along phase or grain boundaries leads to crack initiation typical of alloys. In multi‐principal element alloys, the enamel‐like microstructure is stabilized by phase boundaries. This facilitates trans‐phase migration of semi‐atomic surfaces and provides sufficient plastic space for dislocation‐mediated deformation.

Mathematical Model of Semantic Look - An Efficient Context Driven Search Engine [PDF]
The WorldWideWeb (WWW) is a huge conservatory of web pages. Search Engines are key applications that fetch web pages for the user query. In the current generation web architecture, search engines treat keywords provided by the user as isolated keywords without considering the context of the user query.
