Genetically Engineered Nanobody–Recombinant Antibody Colloidal Gold Strip for Ultrasensitive Atrazine Detection in Fruits and Vegetables

open access: yesFood Safety and Health, EarlyView.
A sensitive colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay for atrazine was successfully established using genetically engineered nanobody‐recombinant antibody, which overcame the shortcomings of traditional antigen‐antibody. ABSTRACT Colloidal gold immunochromatography (CG‐ICA) is distinguished by its cost‐effectiveness and rapid detection capabilities ...

Tolerance of four spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) varieties to weed harrowing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We investigated the tolerance to weed harrowing of four spring barley varieties and examined the possible interactions between varietal weed suppressive ability and two nutrient levels.

Climate change effects on biomass and greenhouse gas emissions are ameliorated by nontoxic endophytes in southeastern USA transition zone tall fescue pastures

open access: yesGrassland Research, EarlyView.
Tall fescue produces more biomass and less carbon dioxide from the soil when it contains its beneficial fungal endophyte. Increased temperatures projected with climate change reduce fescue biomass, while altered rainfall frequency does not. Altering rainfall frequency and increasing temperatures can reduce carbon dioxide emissions from soil.

Reducing weed infestation in winter wheat by sowing technique [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Hoeing can improve weed control in cereals but this requires wider row spacing of the crop. A spe-cific band row design may also ensure high crop yield and quality, especially at the conditions of organic farming.

Effect of Cultural Practices in Night on Weed Density and Weed Dry Matter

open access: yesپژوهشهای زراعی ایران, 2011
Abstract In order to evaluate the response of weed seeds to light, two experiments, at two different locations were conducted at Ferdowsi university of Mashhad in 2009. At the first experiment, field was ploughed in day and night. Weed density was evaluated 70 d after plough, with 1×1 quadrate.

Adensamento da beterraba no manejo de plantas daninhas Increased beet density in weed management

open access: yesPlanta Daninha, 2008
O objetivo deste trabalho foi verificar o efeito do adensamento da semeadura na capacidade de supressão da cultura da beterraba sobre a comunidade infestante. Os tratamentos constituíram-se de 12 períodos semanais crescentes de convivência e controle das

Navigating the future of nano‐pesticides: A perspective on design, efficacy, mechanisms, and environmental stewardship

open access: yesiMeta, EarlyView.
Nano‐pesticides are driving a paradigm shift toward sustainable plant protection. This review systematically synthesizes recent advances across four interconnected domains: (i) intelligent formulation design for targeted delivery and controlled release; (ii) interfacial behavior regulation to enhance foliar deposition; (iii) multi‐omics elucidation of ...
