At Instructional Farm in Jaguli, a field experiment was carried out in the summer of 2022 and 2023 at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya Mohanpur, West Bengal. The experiment was laid out in split plot design with three main plot treatments (dates of sowing) and eight sub plot treatments (weed management practices) replicated thrice.

ABSTRACT Plastochromanol‐8 (PC‐8) is a homologue of γ‐tocotrienol with a longer side chain (eight instead of three isoprene units) and therefore also a representative of the tocochromanol (vitamin E) group. PC‐8 has been determined in various plants and seeds, with Cecropia sp. leaves showing unusually high levels.

Abstract Premise There is a knowledge gap regarding how foliar injury and restricted water uptake can be detected by measuring root dielectric response. This pot study nondestructively evaluated the efficiency of real‐time dielectric measurement to monitor the effects of glyphosate spraying.
