A New Interpretation of the Weighted Kappa Coefficients
Psychometrika, 2016AbstractReliability and agreement studies are of paramount importance. They do contribute to the quality of studies by providing information about the amount of error inherent to any diagnosis, score or measurement. Guidelines for reporting reliability and agreement studies were recently provided.

Weighting coefficients for chirp rate estimation
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 1995Weighting coefficients for minimum variance chirp rate estimation from second phase differences are determined. Both recurrence relations and the closed-form expression are presented. >

Abstract 1. 1. The sedimentation and diffusion coefficients of undissociated haemocyanins from Helix pomatia, Archachatina marginata, Pila leopoldvillensis and Murex trunculus have been determined by ultracentrifugation and laser spectroscopy. 2. 2. The s 20.w 0 values were all a little over 100 S, and the D 20.w 0

A Weighted Concordance Correlation Coefficient for Repeated Measurement Designs
Biometrics, 1996The need to quantify agreement between two raters or two methods of measuring a response often arises in research. Kappa statistics (unweighted and weighted) are appropriate when the data are nominal or ordinal, whereas the concordance correlation coefficient is more appropriate when the data are measured on a continuous scale.

The coefficient of variation: Weighting considerations
Social Indicators Research, 1984Some background notes on inequality indices are presented. Equality is seen not as a distribution in which each cell receives an equal share of a resource but as one in which each share is proportional to a criterion or weighting variable for the cell. Instances are noted where the coefficient of variation has been calculated without full consideration

Coefficient multipliers on weighted bergman spaces
Complex Variables, Theory and Application: An International Journal, 1999In this paper, we characterize the coefficient multipliers of weighted Bergman spaces Ap,α(0 0) into some analytic function spaces.

Calculating Weight Coefficients of Preventive Indices
Occupational Safety in IndustryThe issue of the reduction of industrial accident levels remains one of the high-priority tasks in the field of occupational safety. Traditional methods oriented to the analysis of already occurred negative events demonstrate low efficiency in preventing incidents and accidents.

Part-machine grouping using weighted similarity coefficients
Computers & Industrial Engineering, 2005The first step in the transition to cellular manufacturing is part-machine grouping. In this paper, grouping parts into families and machines into cells is done in two phases: by first grouping machines and then assigning parts. Limits both on the number of machines per cell and on the number of parts per family are considered.

Weight Coefficients in the Appraisal System Approach
2019Among the market oriented appraisal methods, an interesting possibility is represented by the application of the Appraisal System Approach, whose reliability is linked to the availability of an adequate number of comparison data needful to allow the mathematical resolution of the system itself.
