3D Printing of Functional Mesoporous Silica Monoliths with Embedded Metal and MOF Components

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents the development of silica nanocage‐based nano‐inks tailored for digital light processing 3D printing, enabling automated additive manufacturing of mesoporous monoliths. Novel strategies for incorporating metal sites and inducing in situ growth of metal‐organic frameworks are introduced.

Lifted Variable Elimination: A Novel Operator and Completeness Results [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2012
Various methods for lifted probabilistic inference have been proposed, but our understanding of these methods and the relationships between them is still limited, compared to their propositional counterparts. The only existing theoretical characterization of lifting is for weighted first-order model counting (WFOMC), which was shown to be complete ...

Posture of the Trunk During the Lifting of Weights [PDF]

open access: yesBMJ, 1959
This paper is an attempt to answer briefly three questions, and then to suggest an explanation of the answers based on the relevant anatomy. The questions are: (1) How are heavy weights lifted ? (2) What part does the trunk play in this ? (3) What damage may be produced ?

Longer Acting Injectable: Continuous, Linear Release of a Progestin Contraceptive From an Oxidized Porous Silicon Host

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Progestin drugs are loaded into a mesoporous silicon dioxide host by melt‐infiltration. Drugs that decompose at or close to their melting point can be loaded by the addition of cholesterol, which acts as a melting point suppressor. High mass loading of the drug is achieved, and dissolution of the composite is controlled by the nanoscale properties of ...

Immunosuppressive Formulations for Immunological Defense against Traumatic Brain Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A novel subcutaneous formulation combining alpha‐ketoglutarate, glycolysis inhibitor PFK15, and a myelin peptide reduces inflammation in a mouse TBI model. This formulation promotes regulatory immune cells, enhances autophagy, and improves motor function, suggesting its potential as a prophylactic immunosuppressive therapy to mitigate TBI‐induced ...

Potentially diagonalisable lifts with controlled Hodge--Tate weights [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
Motivated by the weight part of Serre's conjecture we consider the following question. Let $K/\mathbb{Q}_p$ be a finite extension and suppose $\overline{\rho} \colon G_K \rightarrow \operatorname{GL}_n(\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p)$ admits a crystalline lift with Hodge--Tate weights contained in the range $[0,p]$. Does $\overline{\rho}$ admits a potentially

Measures for improving the zeppelin airships for long distance transportation [PDF]

open access: yes
Factors to be considered in the construction of dirigibles include the design and weight of support structures, static and aerodynamic loads on the main ring, the annealing of support materials, and the dynamic gas pressure.
