Toeplitz Operators on the Weighted Bergman Space over the Two-Dimensional Unit Ball
We extend the known results on commutative Banach algebras generated by Toeplitz operators with radial quasi-homogeneous symbols on the two-dimensional unit ball.

The backward shift on weighted Bergman spaces.
The authors study the backward shift-invariant subspaces of the weighted Bergman spaces \(A_\alpha^p\) for \(\alpha>-1\) and \(1\leq ...

Abstract The quasi‐biennial oscillation (QBO) is a fundamental mode of atmospheric variability and a textbook example of wave‐mean flow interactions. While its general theory has been established about 50 years ago by the seminal works of Holton, Lindzen and Plumb (HLP), it remains an unsettled problem of geophysical fluid dynamics and a challenge for ...

A NOTE ON A TWO-PARAMETER FAMILY OF OPERATORS ${\MATHCAL A}^{B,C}$ ON WEIGHTED BERGMAN SPACES
In this article, we prove that the two-parameter family of operators Ab,c is bounded on the weighted Bergman spaces B p α+c−1 if α + 2 < p and unbounded if α + 2 = p.

Primitive icosahedral quasicrystals in ZnMgLi(Dy, Ho, Er, Tm) systems
The study introduces new primitive icosahedral quasicrystals in Zn–Mg–Li–(Dy, Ho, Er, Tm) systems. Quasicrystals are studied with an X‐ray diffraction technique resolving the local atomic structure.New quasicrystals with rare‐earth elements and Li are synthesized with the self‐flux method. The starting composition involves 62.8 at.% Zn, 28.6 at.% Mg, 3.

The making of novel ecosystems: A process‐based framework for measurement, analysis and application
Abstract Ecological novelty is emerging rapidly due to global change drivers such as climate shifts, species introductions, defaunation, and land‐use transformation. These changes challenge how we assess, understand and manage ecosystems in the Anthropocene.

A Conceptual Framework and Methods for Studying the Connectivity of Fishes
ABSTRACT Connectivity is a multifaceted concept that has important implications for the management and conservation of marine and freshwater fishes. We developed a conceptual framework that encompasses multiple, interrelated categories of connectedness, including landscape (e.g., structural, functional) connectivity and ecological (e.g., trophic ...

Abstract The etiology of Alzheimer's disease (AD) remains under active debate. In this perspective, we explore the hypothesis that a primarily infection‐caused chronic dysregulation and weakening of human innate immunity via the underexpression, degradation, and inactivation of innate immune proteins necessary for direct antimicrobial effects and ...

Isoperimetric inequalities for conformal moments of plane domains
We prove a new sharp inequality for norms in weighted Bergman space. This inequality is then used to derive isoperimetric inequalities for geometric functionals which are closely related to the torsional rigidity of a simply connected domain (F.
