Weighted Composition Operators ofC0(X)'s

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1996
In this paper, we prove that into isometries and disjointness preserving linear maps from $C_0(X)$ into $C_0(Y)$ are essentially weighted composition operators $Tf = h\cdot f\circ $ for some continuous map $ $ and some continuous scalar-valued function $h$.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Normaloid weighted composition operators on H2 [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2018
When \ph\ is an analytic self-map of the unit disk with Denjoy-Wolff point $a \in \D$, and $ (\W) = (a)$, we give an exact characterization for when \W\ is normaloid. We also determine the spectral radius, essential spectral radius, and essential norm for a class of non-compact composition operators whose symbols have Denjoy-Wolff point in \D.

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Weighted Composition Operator from Mixed Norm Space to Bloch-Type Space on the Unit Ball

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We discuss the boundedness and compactness of the weighted composition operator from mixed norm space to Bloch-type space on the unit ball of Cn.

On weighted generalized composition operators on weighted hardy spaces

open access: yesFilomat, 2020
The present paper introduces the class of weighted generalized composition operators of higher order defined on the weighted Hardy spaces. The study of bounded operators belonging to this class is undertaken and an attempt is made to describe their structural and spectral properties.

Identification of serum protein biomarkers for pre‐cancerous lesions associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Spectrum of weighted composition operators. Part II: weighted composition operators on subspaces of Banach lattices [PDF]

open access: yesPositivity, 2012
We describe the spectrum of weighted $d$-isomorphisms of Banach lattices restricted on closed subspaces that are "rich" enough to preserve some "memory" of the order structure of the original lattice. The examples include (but are not limited to) weighted isometries of Hardy spaces on the polydisk and unit ball in $\mathds{C}^n$.

Generalized weighted composition-differentiation operators on weighted Bergman spaces

open access: yes, 2023
Let $ \mathcal{H}(\mathbb{D}) $ be the class of all holomorphic functions in the unit disk $ \mathbb{D} $. We aim to explore the complex symmetry exhibited by generalized weighted composition-differentiation operators, denoted as $L_{n, ψ, ϕ}$ and is defined by \begin{align*} L_{n, ψ, ϕ}:=\sum_{k=1}^{n}c_kD_{k, ψ_k, ϕ},\; \mbox{where }\; c_k\in\mathbb ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.
