Estimate AR(3) by Using Levinson-Durbin Recurrence & Weighted Least Squares Error Methods
In this study, we investigate about the estimation improvement for Autoregressive model of the third order, by using Levinson-Durbin Recurrence (LDR) and Weighted Least Squares Error ( WLSE ).By generating time series from AR(3) model when the error ...

Subspace identification methods (SIMs) have proven very powerful for estimating linear state-space models. To overcome the deficiencies of classical SIMs, a significant number of algorithms has appeared over the last two decades, where most of them involve a common intermediate step, that is to estimate the range space of the extended observability ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Spinal cord infarction (SCI) is a rare but devastating myelopathy, characterized by a high disability rate and an unfavorable prognosis. It has often been underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed as idiopathic transverse myelitis (ITM). This study aimed to describe the clinical features, radiological biomarkers, treatments, and functional ...

Comparison Results on Preconditioned GAOR Methods for Weighted Linear Least Squares Problems
We present preconditioned generalized accelerated overrelaxation methods for solving weighted linear least square problems. We compare the spectral radii of the iteration matrices of the preconditioned and the original methods.

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

Iterative Positioning With Two Step Weighted Linear Least Squares for 6G ISAC
In this study, we propose a Modified Two step Weighted Linear Least Squares (MTWLLS) approach for 6G Integrated Sensing And Communication (ISAC)-based positioning in indoor environments using range measurements.

Scaled weighted total least-squares adjustment for partial errors-in-variables model
Scaled total least-squares (STLS) unify LS, Data LS, and TLS with a different choice of scaled parameter. The function of the scaled parameter is to balance the effect of random error of coefficient matrix and observation vector for the estimate of ...

A weighting strategy for Active Shape Models
Active Shape Models (ASM) are an iterative segmentation technique to find a landmark-based contour of an object. In each iteration, a least-squares fit of a plausible shape to some detected target landmarks is determined.

Value of MRI Outcomes for Preventive and Early‐Stage Trials in Spinocerebellar Ataxias 1 and 3
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the value of MRI outcomes as endpoints for preventive and early‐stage trials of two polyglutamine spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs). Methods A cohort of 100 participants (23 SCA1, 63 SCA3, median Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) score = 5, 42% preataxic, and 14 gene‐negative controls) was scanned at 3T up ...
