A Hybrid Low-Complexity WMMSE Precoder with Adaptive Damping for Massive Multi-User Multiple-Input Multiple- Output Systems

open access: yesSensors
Maximizing the weighted sum-rate (WSR) in downlink multi-user multiple-input multipleoutput (MU-MIMO) systems remains computationally challenging due to the prohibitive complexity of classical weighted minimum mean square error (WMMSE) algorithms.

Uncovering G Protein‐Coupled Receptors: Novel Targets and Biomarkers for Predicting Glioma Prognosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Low‐grade gliomas (LGG) exhibit significant heterogeneity and recurrence risk. G protein‐coupled receptors (GPCR) contribute to glioma malignant progression, but their prognostic value remains unclear. This work attempts to formulate a GPCR‐based outcome‐predicting model for LGG. Methods Based on TCGA LGG data, the enrichment scores

A Two‐Stage Questionnaire and Actigraphy Screening for iRBD in a Multicenter Retrospective Cohort

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Isolated rapid‐eye‐movement sleep behavior disorder is a prodromal marker of synucleinopathies. However, most cases remain undiagnosed due to the insufficient predictive value of questionnaires and limited access to confirmatory video‐polysomnography. We assessed a two‐stage screening strategy combining a brief questionnaire on rapid‐

White Matter Microstructural Abnormalities in Neonatal Onset Genetic Epilepsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Recent evidence indicates that epilepsy is associated with abnormal white matter. If seizures alter white matter, then the impact upon network function, epileptogenesis, and cognition could be pronounced in neonates undergoing rapid developmental myelination. Neonates with epilepsy due to nonstructural genetic causes provide a unique

On Some New Paranormed Sequence Spaces and Their Topological Properties

open access: yesJournal of New Results in Science, 2014
In this study, we define new paranormed sequence spaces c0(u, v; p, G) and c(u, v; p, G) by combining a generalized weighted mean and a generalized difference operatorB = B(r, s, t).

On the degree of approximation of the conjugate of a function belonging to the weighted $ W(L^p, \xi(t))$ class by matrix means of the conjugate series of a Fourier series

open access: yesTamkang Journal of Mathematics, 2002
In a recent paper Lal [1] obtained a theorem on the degree of approximation of the conjugate of a function belonging to the weighted $ W(L^p, \xi(t))$ class using a triangular matrix transform of the conjugate series of the Fourier series representation of the function. The matrix involved was assumed to have monotone increasing rows.

Combining Three Peripheral Blood Biomarkers to Stratify Rheumatoid Arthritis–Associated Interstitial Lung Disease Risk

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective The purpose was to evaluate a biomarker score consisting of MUC5B rs35705950 promoter variant, plasma matrix metalloproteinase‐7 (MMP‐7), and serum anti–malondialdehyde‐acetaldehyde (anti‐MAA) antibody for rheumatoid arthritis (RA)–associated interstitial lung disease (ILD) risk stratification.

On the degree of approximation of conjugate of a function belonging to weighted $ W(L^p,\xi(t))$ class by matrix summability means of conjugate series of a Fourier series

open access: yesTamkang Journal of Mathematics, 2000
In this paper a new theorem on the degree of approximation of conjugate of a function belonging to weighted $ W(L^p,\xi(t))$ class by Matrix summability means of conjugate series of a Fourier series has been established. The main theorem is a generalization of serveral known and unknown results.

Differential Item Functioning on the Patient Health Questionnaire 8 by Disease Subtype, Language, Sex, and Age Among People With Systemic Sclerosis: A Scleroderma Patient‐Centered Intervention Network Cohort Study

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Somatic items used in depression assessments can potentially overlap with symptoms related to physical illness, including systemic sclerosis (SSc). No studies have looked at whether somatic depression items may be influenced by diffuse versus limited SSc disease subtypes, which are associated with varying degrees of symptom presentation.

A computational intelligence approach for classifying dental caries in X-ray images using integrated fuzzy C-means clustering with feature reduction and a weighted matrix scheme

open access: yesScientific Reports
Classifying dental caries in X-ray images poses several challenges that must be addressed to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning. However, dental X-rays often have low contrast, making it difficult to distinguish between healthy and decayed regions, especially in the early stages of caries.
