Estimation Methods of Interval Weights Centered at Geometric Mean from a Pairwise Comparison Matrix

2018 Joint 10th International Conference on Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems (SCIS) and 19th International Symposium on Advanced Intelligent Systems (ISIS), 2018
An interval priority weight estimation method was proposed under the idea that the inconsistency of pairwise comparison matrix comes from human vague evaluation. Because the interval priority weights estimated by the conventional method are often unbalanced and too narrow to represent the vagueness of human judgment, several improved interval priority ...

Weighting Exponent Selection of Fuzzy C-Means via Jacobian Matrix

2014
FCM is a popular clustering algorithm and applied in various areas. However, there are still some problems to be solved including the selection of weighting exponent m and convergence analysis. In this paper, we present an efficient method to identify the proper range of m and convergence rate by a new Jacobian matrix of FCM.

Comparison of matrix-effect corrections for ordinary and uncertainty weighted linear regressions and determination of major element mean concentrations and total uncertainties of sixty-two international geochemical reference materials from wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry

Spectrochimica Acta, Part B: Atomic Spectroscopy, 2019
Abstract In X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry, matrix-effect corrections for two types of linear regressions (ordinary and uncertainty-based weighted) have been performed for the first time and compared for the determination of major elements in rocks and minerals.

Determination of the Coordinates of the Center of a Gaussian Beam by Means of a Matrix Photodetector Using a Weighting Method

Measurement Techniques, 2003
A weighting algorithm to determine the coordinates of the center of a Gaussian laser beam projected onto a matrix photodetector is considered. The influence of the internal noise of the photodetector, the maximum brightness of the signal at the beam maximum, and the beam radius on the precision of the algorithm is investigated. APPROXIMATION OF FUNCTIONS BY THE MATRIX MEANS IN WEIGHTED ORLICZ SPACES

International Conference on Modern Problems of Mathematics, Mechanics and their Applications
Abstract. In this work, the approximation properties of the matrix submethods in weighted Orlicz spaces L T M , are investigated. We obtain some results related to trigonometric approximation using matrix submethods of partial sums of Fourier series of functions in weighted Orlicz spaces. The degree of trigonometric approximations by the matrix methods ...
