Matrix transformations on fields of absolute weighted mean summability

open access: yesStudia Scientiarum Mathematicarum Hungarica, 2011
In the present paper, we characterize the classes of all triangular matrices, \documentclass{aastex} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{bm} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{pifont} \usepackage{stmaryrd} \usepackage{textcomp} \usepackage{upgreek} \usepackage{portland,xspace} \usepackage{amsmath,amsxtra ...

An analytical solution to the multicommodity network flow problem with weighted random routing

open access: yesApplied Network Science, 2021
We derive an analytical expression for the mean load at each node of an arbitrary undirected graph for the non-uniform multicommodity flow problem under weighted random routing. We show the mean load at each node, net of its demand and normalized by its (

Fitting a function to time-dependent ensemble averaged data [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Time-dependent ensemble averages, i.e., trajectory-based averages of some observable, are of importance in many fields of science. A crucial objective when interpreting such data is to fit these averages (for instance, squared displacements) with a ...

On weighted total least squares adjustment for solving the nonlinear problems

open access: yesJournal of Geodetic Science, 2014
In the classical geodetic data processing, a non- linear problem always can be converted to a linear least squares adjustment. However, the errors in Jacob matrix are often not being considered when using the least square method to estimate the optimal ...

Linear Transceiver design for Downlink Multiuser MIMO Systems: Downlink-Interference Duality Approach

open access: yes, 2013
This paper considers linear transceiver design for downlink multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. We examine different transceiver design problems. We focus on two groups of design problems.

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Multi‐view registration based on weighted LRS matrix decomposition of motions

open access: yesIET Computer Vision, 2019
Recently, the low‐rank and sparse (LRS) matrix decomposition has been introduced as an effective mean to solve the multi‐view registration. It views each available relative motion as a block element to reconstruct one sparse matrix, which then is used to

Three parameter Transmuted Rayleigh distribution with application to Reliability data [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Theory and Applications (JSTA), 2016
This research introduces the three parameter transmuted Rayleigh distribution with an application to fatigue fracture data. Using the quadratic rank transmutation map method proposed by Shaw et al.

On the mean-width of isotropic convex bodies and their associated $L_p$-centroid bodies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
For any origin-symmetric convex body $K$ in $\mathbb{R}^n$ in isotropic position, we obtain the bound: \[ M^*(K) \leq C \sqrt{n} \log(n)^2 L_K ~, \] where $M^*(K)$ denotes (half) the mean-width of $K$, $L_K$ is the isotropic constant of $K$, and $C>0$ is

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.
