Nonparametric Identification of nonlinear dynamic Systems [PDF]

D‐NPC: Dynamic Neural Point Clouds for Non‐Rigid View Synthesis from Monocular Video
Abstract Dynamic reconstruction and spatiotemporal novel‐view synthesis of non‐rigidly deforming scenes recently gained increased attention. While existing work achieves impressive quality and performance on multi‐view or teleporting camera setups, most methods fail to efficiently and faithfully recover motion and appearance from casual monocular ...

Abstract Translocation is often used to increase local abundance of fish and wildlife populations for conservation or harvest purposes, and effects of releases on recipient populations are context dependent. Release of non‐local animals intended for harvest can have negative demographic, genetic, and ecological risks to endemic populations when not ...

Analysis of 3D Face Reconstruction
This thesis investigates the long standing problem of 3D reconstruction from a single 2D face image. Face reconstruction from a single 2D face image is an ill posed problem involving estimation of the intrinsic and the extrinsic camera parameters, light

Global Identification of Robot Drive Gains Parameters Using a Known Payload and Weighted Total Least Square Techniques [PDF]
International audienceOff-line robot dynamic identification methods are based on the use of the Inverse Dynamic Identification Model (IDIM), which calculates the joint forces/torques that are linear in relation to the dynamic parameters, and on the use ...

Abstract Around 30% of peatland in Nordic and Baltic countries has been drained for forestry. Drained peatlands are major sources of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and nutrients to surface waters, contributing to global warming, eutrophication, and brownification.

Channel Rectification and Signal Estimation Based on EIV Model in Massive MIMO System
The performance of Massive MIMO is severely limited by channel estimation error, which is caused by pilot contamination and channel aging. In this paper, we propose an estimation algorithm based on the weighted total least‐squares method with errors‐in‐variables (EIV) model to alleviate the influence of pilot contamination and channel aging.

Background The present study was conducted to establish a population pharmacokinetic (PK) model that describes tigecycline concentrations in critically ill patients and optimises the detailed dosing regimens of tigecycline via Monte Carlo simulations. Methods A single‐centre, prospective, observational study was conducted on 155 patients hospitalised ...

Structural Theory and Classification of 2D Adinkras
Adinkras are combinatorial objects developed to study (1‐dimensional) supersymmetry representations. Recently, 2D Adinkras have been developed to study 2‐dimensional supersymmetry. In this paper, we classify all 2D Adinkras, confirming a conjecture of T. Hübsch.

A new experimentally validated organic electrochemical transistor device model is presented that surpasses the limitations of models based on uniform doping assumptions. The new model considers a non‐monolithic capacitance for the mixed electronic‐ionic semiconductor, enabling accurate estimation of parasitic resistance, and provides the first design ...
