Weighting coefficients for chirp rate estimation

IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 1995
Weighting coefficients for minimum variance chirp rate estimation from second phase differences are determined. Both recurrence relations and the closed-form expression are presented. >

The Dependence of Chance-Corrected Weighted Agreement Coefficients on the Power Parameter of the Weighting Scheme: Analysis and Measurement [PDF]

open access: yesPsychometrika, 2022
We consider the dependence of a broad class of chance-corrected weighted agreement coefficients on the weighting scheme that penalizes rater disagreements.

Explicit formulas for the weighting coefficients of maximally flat nonrecursive digital filters

open access: yesProceedings of the IEEE, 1984
An explicit formula is given for the weighting coefficients of maximally flat nonrecursive digital filters based on Miller's [1] design.

A clustering coefficient for complete weighted networks

Network Science, 2015
AbstractThe clustering coefficient is typically used as a measure of the prevalence of node clusters in a network. Various definitions for this measure have been proposed for the cases of networks having weighted edges which may or not be directed. However, these techniques consistently assume that only a subset of all possible edges is present in the ...

Unilateral Weighted Jaccard Coefficient for NLP

2015 Fourteenth Mexican International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (MICAI), 2015
Similarity measures are essential to solve many pattern recognition problems such as classification, clustering, and retrieval problems. Various similarity measures are categorized in both syntactic and semantic relationships. In this paper we present a novel similarity, Unilateral Weighted Jaccard Coefficient (uwJaccard), which takes into ...

On the stability of quasipolynomials with weighted diamond coefficients

Multidimensional Systems and Signal Processing, 1994
The robust stability of families of time delay systems with multiple interval delays and complex weighted diamond coefficients is considered. Three families of quasipolynomials with weighted diamond coefficients are investigated. Edge-type stability criteria for the quasipolynomials are established.

Weight coefficients in the weighted least squares method

Numerical Analysis and Applications, 2015
Summary: We consider a problem of estimating some parameters of linear mathematical models. It is found that by choosing weight coefficients in the least squares method, one can obtain solutions by minimizing any penalty functions of a wide class, including Hölder norms.

A New Interpretation of the Weighted Kappa Coefficients

Psychometrika, 2016
AbstractReliability and agreement studies are of paramount importance. They do contribute to the quality of studies by providing information about the amount of error inherent to any diagnosis, score or measurement. Guidelines for reporting reliability and agreement studies were recently provided.
