The kinase SRPK1 directly interacts with the protein TOPBP1 and regulates the pre‐mRNA splicing of WIZ thereby contributing to the activation of the ATR/CHK1 replicative checkpoint in response to replicative stress. This allows cancer cells' genomic stability and survival.

Which Optimal Design For LLDAs? [PDF]
Lottery-linked deposit accounts are financial assets that provide an interest rate determined by a lottery. The aim of this study is to determine the optimal design of these financial assets (under cumulative prospect theory (CPT) framework).

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

On Higher Derivatives of Expectations [PDF]
It is understood that derivatives of an expectation $E [\phi(S(T)) | S(0) = x]$ with respect to $x$ can be expressed as $E [\phi(S(T)) \pi | S(0) = x]$, where $S(T)$ is a stochastic variable at time $T$ and $\pi$ is a stochastic weighting function ...

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Optimal Malliavin weighting Function for the Computation
This paper reexamines the Malliavin weighting functions introduced by The likelihood ratio is precisely the weighting function with the smallest total variance.

Generalized Hamming Weight as a Weight Function
We prove that the weight function of a linear code, that is, an integer function defined on the vector space of messages, uniquely determines the code up to equivalence. We propose a natural way to extend the r-th generalized Hamming weight, that is, a function on r-subspaces of a code, to a function on the r-th exterior power of the code.

Abruptly changing from aerobic to anaerobic conditions (sudden anaerobization) induced growth inhibition and a significant increase in intracellular labile ferrous iron in the aerotolerant anaerobe Amphibacillus xylanus. We found that free flavins mediate efficient electron transfer from NADH to ferric iron under anaerobic conditions, suggesting that ...

Versatile vector tools for efficient protein screening across multiple expression systems
A unified vector toolkit enables rapid protein expression screening across E. coli, insect, and mammalian cells. A single primer pair amplifies the target gene, which is inserted into any vector via a standardized interface. This streamlined workflow eliminates repeated cloning steps, accelerating the identification of optimal expression conditions for
