Weighted Inequalities for Monotone Functions

Mathematische Nachrichten, 1995
AbstractWeighted norm inequalities are investigated by giving an extension of the Riesz convexity theorem to semi‐linear operators on monotone functions. Several properties of the classes B(p, n) and C(p, n) introduced by Neugebauer in [13] are given. In particular, we characterize the weight pairs w, v for which \documentclass{article}\pagestyle{empty}

SRAD with Weighted Diffusion Function

2013
Speckle Reducing Anisotropic Diffusion, SRAD, is a multiplicative noise reduction method. In highly speckled environment, SRAD occasionally produces over-smoothed, dislocated/broadened edge lines and inadequate de-noising on homogeneous image regions where the speckles are well developed.

The Concentration Function of Additive Functions with Special Weight

Mathematical Notes, 2004
The authors continue their previous paper [Math. Notes 75, No. 6, 819--835 (2004); translation from Mat. Zametki 75, No. 6, 877--894 (2004; Zbl 1067.11059)]. Suppose that \(g(n)\) is an additive real-valued function, \[ W(N) = 4+\min_\lambda\left(\lambda^2 +\sum_ ...

Weight Constraint Programs with Functions

2009
In this paper we consider a new class of logic programs, called weight constraint programs with functions, which are lparse programs incorporating functions over non-Herbrand domains. We define answer sets for these programs and develop a computational mechanism based on loop completion. We present our results in two stages.

Weight Functions for the Notched Bar

ZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, 1971
AbstractWeight functions for the notched bar are presented in such a form, that stress intensity factors for all kinds of symmetric loading can be easily computed by slide rule.
