Welding fumes formation. V. Formation of final agglomerates.

open access: yesPhysics of Aerodisperse Systems, 2014
The dusty plasma behavior is studied in the process of coagulation of the primary particles, which are formed as a result of the nucleation and nuclei growth in the condensable hightemperature vapors. The study is concentrated to the example of the thermal plasma formed in the welding fume in the arc welding process where the electrodes covered with ...

Effect of Welding Current on High Speed Welding Bead Formation in Tandem Pulsed GMA Welding Process

open access: yesQUARTERLY JOURNAL OF THE JAPAN WELDING SOCIETY, 2005
In tandem pulsed GMA welding the stabilization of accumulated molten metal between the leading arc and the trailing arc, the presence of enough molten metal below the trailing arc, and the reduced velocity of molten metal flow towards the rear part of the weld pool are essential to improve the maximum welding speed.
