Well differentiated thyroid cancer

Current Opinion in Oncology, 2003
Cancers of follicular cell origin are the most common of the endocrine malignancies. Thyroid cancers are seen with increased frequency after radiation exposure and in some familial syndromes. Interestingly, the prognosis of thyroid carcinoma is highly dependent on the age of the patient at the time of examination: several clinical staging systems ...

Well-differentiated fetal adenocarcinoma of lung

Lung Cancer, 1995
Well-differentiated fetal adenocarcinoma (WDFA) histologically resembles pulmonary blastoma, and is thought to be a subtype of pulmonary blastoma which has differentiated epithelial features resembling the fetal lung among its epithelial features and sarcomatous features. We recently encountered one patient who underwent surgery for WDFA.

Well-Differentiated Teratoma in a Mouse Uterus

Toxicologic Pathology, 2011
Teratomas commonly occur in the testis and ovary, whereas in the uterus they are rare. The authors report findings for a mass detected in the uterus of a 26-week-old mouse in a colony of C57BL/6 bred in their laboratory. The mass was located in the endometrium and protruded into the lumen.

Radiologic features of well-differentiated osteosarcoma

American Journal of Roentgenology, 1988
Eight cases of well-differentiated, intramedullary osteosarcoma were studied. In three cases, the lesions previously had been diagnosed, pathologically and radiologically, as benign. The distal femur was the most frequent site. Radiographically, the tumor margins were poorly defined in five cases and were well defined in three. In seven cases, the bone

Well-differentiated adenoma at the anorectal junction

Diseases of the Colon & Rectum, 1978
Twenty-six cases of patients having adenomatous polyps at the anorectal junction are presented. Most polyps in this region were well-differentiated, and atypical polyps were infrequently seen. Well-differentiated adenomatous polyps in the anorectal junction were larger in average size than ordinary colorectal polyps having the same grade of epithelial ...

Surgery for Abdominal Well-Differentiated Liposarcoma

Current Treatment Options in Oncology, 2018
Retroperitoneal sarcomas are rare tumors of which liposarcoma is the most common histology. Surgical resection remains the mainstay of therapy, particularly for the well-differentiated subtype. They can grow to massive size before causing symptoms or detection.

Ultrastructural Findings in a Well-Differentiated Hepatoma

Digestion, 2009
The fine structure of a well-differentiated hepatoma, removed from the liver of a 28-year-old female, was investigated. In the neoplastic liver cells all the organelles were easily recognized. Striking changes were seen in the mitochondria, consisting of polymorphism and increased matrical density.

Well-Differentiated Liposarcoma

2017
Well-differentiated liposarcomas and atypical lipomatous tumors are low-grade fatty malignancies that share the same histopathology. PET/MR imaging is a useful modality to noninvasively differentiate these low-grade malignances from benign lipomas and higher-grade sarcomatous lesions.
