Simulating Interventions for Symptoms Linking Problematic Social Networking Sites Use to Online Aggressive Behavior Among Chinese College Students: A Gender‐Differentiated Network Analysis

open access: yesPsyCh Journal, Volume 15, Issue 2, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Prior empirical evidence supports the close association between problematic social networking sites use (PSNS) and online aggressive behavior (OAB). However, few studies have examined the potential symptom connection between these two issues as part of a multidimensional mechanism.

Tectonic Background of the Wenchuan Earthquake [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Since the occurrence of the Wenchuan Earthquake on May 12, 2008, several papers on its seismotectonics analysis have been published (Lei et al. 2009; Yue, 2010; Chen et al. 2009; Tang et al. 2009; Zhu et al. 2009). Although their opinions were not uniform, most authors believe that the source of the earthquake was the Central Longmen Mountain Range ...

Large‐Scale Deformation, Strain Characteristics, and Locking Distribution of the Qilian‐Haiyuan Fault System

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract The Qilian‐Haiyuan fault system is the main tectonic boundary of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau, controlling the regional tectonic deformation and seismic activity. Extensive Sentinel‐1 SAR data (2014–2021) are used to map the regional tectonic deformation, strain distribution, and locking along primary and secondary faults.

Crustal Flow‐Driven Plateau Growth and Expansion Front in NE Tibet: Insights From High‐Resolution Attenuation Tomography With High‐Density ChinArray Lg Data

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 2, 28 January 2026.
Abstract The Northeastern (NE) Tibet, as the front of plateau growth, widely absorbs northeastward extrusion, leading to significant uplift and forming a basin‐mountain tectonic framework. However, it remains unclear how the crust of NE Tibet deformed in response to the far‐field effects of the India‐Eurasia collision.

Temporal variation of gravity field before and after Wenchuan Ms8. 0 earthquake

open access: yesGeodesy and Geodynamics, 2011
Absolute and relative gravity data during 1998 to 2008 were used to study gravity field and temporal variation in the North–south seismic-belt region, and their correlation with seismic activities before and after Wenchuan Ms8. 0 earthquake. The temporal

The response law of far-field seismic ground motion of the Wenchuan earthquake and its damaging mechanism in the Loess Plateau

open access: yesEarthquake Research Advances, 2022
A series of housing collapses and other serious damage was caused by the 2008 Wenchuan MS 8.0 earthquake in the seismic intensity Ⅵ areas of the Loess Plateau, which is hundreds of kilometers away from the epicenter, and which showed a remarkable seismic

Measuring county resilience after the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Disaster Risk Science, 2015
Abstract. The catastrophic earthquake in 2008 has caused serious damage to Wenchuan County and the surrounding area in China. In recent years, great attention has been paid to the resilience of the affected area. This study applied a new framework, the Resilience Inference Measurement (RIM) model, to quantify and validate the community resilience of ...

Possible precursory anomalies in ground water level associated with the Wenchuan Ms 8.0 earthquake in 2008, Sichuan, China

open access: yesGeodesy and Geodynamics, 2020
We have examined the water level data from 16 wells in Sichuan province, China, recorded before the Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake occurred in 2008. We found that the data of 5 among these wells exhibit possible precursory anomalies, which are respectively ...
