This study examines metal–perovskite interfaces in 2D (BA)2PbBr4 and (PEA)2PbBr4 using first‐principles and NEGF methods. It compares top‐ and edge‐contact configurations, revealing Schottky barriers in top contacts and ohmic behavior in edge contacts.

Uranium Doped Gallium Nitride Epitaxial Thin Films
Uranium was controllably added to gallium nitride using molecular beam epitaxy. The uranium atoms segregated into vertically oriented regions with higher doping levels. Concentrations up to a few percent were achieved without showing significant degradation in the crystalline quality or optical characteristics. Low electrical resistivity was maintained

Sulfurized polyacrylonitrile (SPAN) is investigated as a cathode for room‐temperature Na–S batteries in ether‐based electrolytes under controlled discharge depths. Depth‐of‐discharge‐dependent structural evolution reveals that deep discharge below 1.0 V destabilizes SPAN structure, alters polysulfide equilibria, and promotes sodium dendrite formation ...

Self‐Heating and Thermal Gradient in Solid‐State Batteries: Friend or Foe?
This work investigates the role of self‐heating and thermal gradients derived from the kinetics/transport interactions within the cathode microstructure, electrode architecture, and operating regimes, thus encouraging a mechanism‐centric design of anode‐free solid‐state batteries for next‐generation high‐power applications.
