Lichen biota of West Siberia

Contemporary Problems of Ecology, 2009
The author has surveyed the diversity of lichen biota of West Siberia and distribution of lichens over its two geographic parts: the West Siberian Plain and the mountain frame in the south of West Siberia. The diversity of lichen biota in entire West Siberia is currently estimated at 1845 species in 325 genera and 95 families. The diversity of the West

Callovian foraminiferal assemblages in West Siberia

Russian Geology and Geophysics, 2009
Abstract The paper presents data on Callovian foraminiferal assemblages from several wells in two localities of the West Siberian plain (Shaim oil and gas district, northwestern West Siberia, and Mykhpai field, central West Siberia). The assemblages are compared and studied in terms of space and time changes of their stratigraphy, which ...

Efficient Brownfield Optimization of a Reservoir in West Siberia

Proceedings, 2017
In this work we present a methodology for optimal management of brownfields that is illustrated on a real field. The approach does not depend on the particular reservoir flow simulator used, although streamline-derived information is leveraged to accelerate the optimization. The method allows one to include (non-linear) constraints (e.g.

Hydrogeochemistry of Pre-Jurassic Aquifers in West Siberia

Russian Geology and Geophysics, 2020
Abstract ––For the first time in the last 35 years, hydrogeochemical data on pre-Jurassic complexes in West Siberia have been generalized. Groundwater and brines of Cl–Na and Cl–HCO3–Na type with total salinity (TDS) varying from 4 to 330 g/L are found to be widespread in the area under study, with the former type dominating.

New Petroleum Store in West Siberia

Proceedings, 2008

An aborted Triassic Ocean in west Siberia

Tectonics, 1988
A small buried oceanic basin named the Obsky paleo‐ocean has been found in West Siberia. It developed from 235 to 218 m.y. during the Triassic by rift propagation and seafloor spreading inside the west Siberian region of the continent. During the postspreading period the Obsky paleo‐ocean did not collapse but instead was covered intact by a layer of ...
