Mitochondrial DNA Polymorphism in Russians from West Siberia

Human Heredity, 1992
The mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) of 60 Russians from West Siberia was analyzed with the following restriction enzymes: BamHI, HindIII, PstI, PvuII and SacI that recognize 6 bp. The observed restriction fragment length polymorphisms (morphs) were classified into 13 types of distinct cleavage patterns (mitotypes).

Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds in West Siberia Environment

Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds, 2000
Abstract A novel SIM version is proposed and demonstrated for isomer-specific analysis of target chemical compounds in complex mixtures by GC/MS. The results GC/MS analyses of PACs and of other organic contaminant in natural waters, sediments and soils are presented and discussed for some West Siberia areas.

Lichen biota of West Siberia

Contemporary Problems of Ecology, 2009
The author has surveyed the diversity of lichen biota of West Siberia and distribution of lichens over its two geographic parts: the West Siberian Plain and the mountain frame in the south of West Siberia. The diversity of lichen biota in entire West Siberia is currently estimated at 1845 species in 325 genera and 95 families. The diversity of the West
