In the course of a study conducted in 2015–2019, it was found that there is a permanent center of dirofilariasis in the North-Western Caucasus, which is actively supported by domestic dogs and cats, as well as wild predatory mammals. Dogs in the region have two types of dirofilaria cardionematoda Dirofilaria immitis and subcutaneous Dirofilaria repens.

AbstractThis study provides 39 new thermochronometric analyses from the western part of the Greater Caucasus, a region in which existing data are extremely limited and of questionable quality. The new results are consistent with field studies that identify Triassic to Middle Jurassic (Cimmerian) and Oligo-Miocene (Alpine) orogenic erosional events.

Spatial Patterns of Seed Plants and Their Conservation Priorities in Jiangxi Province, China 中国江西省种子植物的空间格局及其保护优先区

We comprehensively evaluated the seed plant diversity of Jiangxi province to address the regional biodiversity conservation of Asian subtropical evergreen broad‐leaved forests (EBLFs). Higher species diversity of seed plants was observed in eastern, southern, and western Jiangxi, with elevation and precipitation as mainly environmental factors.

Macro‐ and micromorphological insights into Iranian Onobrychis subgenus Onobrychis Miller (Fabaceae): exploring fruit traits for taxonomic clarity

This study provides a comprehensive examination of fruit morphology and micromorphology characteristics of 28 populations of Onobrychis subgenus Onobrychis taxa from Iran, using both light and scanning electron microscopy. For each trait, 25 replicates were analyzed, encompassing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative traits.
