Genetic testing for hereditary breast cancer in Poland: 1998–2022
BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations contribute to both breast cancer and ovarian cancer worldwide. In Poland approximately 4% of patients with breast cancers and 10% of patients with ovarian cancer carry a mutation in BRCA1.

ABSTRACT Tick‐borne diseases (TBDs) have proliferated in Germany. The two most prevalent TBDs, Lyme‐borreliosis and tick‐borne encephalitis, can present with nonspecific symptoms and lead to serious neurological complications. To date, a review synthesising the risk factors of acquiring a TBD in Germany is missing.

An attenuated live vaccine (OTS‐300) expressing the XBB.1.5 Spike provided rapid and complete protection against homologous challenge in the hamster model, accompanied by fast systemic and mucosal antibody responses and markedly reduced transmission compared with XBB.1.5 mRNA vaccination.
