Lattice Dynamics of Rutile Germanium Dioxide (r‐GeO2)
Advanced Electronic Materials, Volume 12, Issue 4, 18 February 2026.The rutile polymorph of GeO2 is a promising ultra‐wide bandgap material, but key properties for its technological exploitation remain poorly understood. Using polarization angle‐resolved Raman spectroscopy, we resolve long‐standing uncertainties in the energies of Raman‐active phonons and extract relative Raman tensor elements.
