CdTe Quantum Dots Encapsulated on Perovskite Grains Enable Highly Efficient and Stable Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Present work demonstrates an efficient laser‐assisted localized interfacial engineering strategy that achieves epitaxial‐grade atomic coherence in spatially defined p‐n microscopic heterointerfaces, via precisely embedding p‐type CdTe QDs into an n‐type perovskite matrix, which concurrently establishes dual optimization of microscale carrier management

Clausal tripartition, anti-locality and preliminary considerations of a formal approach to clause types [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We will see how it is reasonable to speak of a minimum distance that an element must cross in order to enter into a well-formed movement dependency. In the course of the discussion of this notion of anti-localiry, a theoretical framework unfolds which is

Gradient‐Modified Li‐Rich Manganese‐Based Oxides Cathodes with Breakthrough of Kinetic Limitation for High‐Performance All‐Solid‐State Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The novel gradient‐modified LRMO has been synthesized via a one‐step mechano‐fusion process, with simultaneous S and Zr co‐doping in the near‐surface region and an amorphous coating. The synergistic co‐functionalization stabilizes the oxygen framework, enhances charge transport, and suppresses oxygen dimerization under high potential, which enable ...

Copy theory in wh-in-situ languages: Sluicing in Hindi-Urdu [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Hindi-Urdu is known to be one of the wh-in-situ languages exhibiting a sluicing-like construction. Although many have proposed alternative accounts of such strings in wh-in-situ languages (e.g. Kizu 1997, Toosarvandani 2009, Gribanova 2011, Hankamer 2010)

Atomically Resolved Acoustic Dynamics Coupled with Magnetic Order in a Van der Waals Antiferromagnet

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetically coupled acoustic phonon modes (f1, f2, f3) are captured by ultrafast X‐ray diffraction in a prototypical van der Waals antiferromagnet FePS3, including their atomic displacement vectors (u) and the acoustic propagation wave vectors (k). Notably, the atomic displacement vector and amplitude of these modes, represented by the direction and ...

No 'No' : on the crosslinguistic absence of a determiner 'No' [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This paper concerns the semantics of determiners. I point out that the currently dominant generalized quantifiers analysis of determiners has certain deficiencies.

Bio‐Inspired Hierarchical Nanoreactor With Hetero‐Coordinated Fe–P–Co Bridges for Whole‐Pathway‐Regulated Electrocatalytic Oxygen Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A bioinspired Co‐doped Fe2P on N‐doped carbon with a hierarchical eucalyptus‐like nanoarchitecture is engineered to regulate oxygen across the entire electrochemical pathway, achieving a half‐wave potential of 0.938 V vs. RHE, sustaining 373 h of discharge in Al‐air batteries, and delivering an energy density of 3487 Wh/kg.

Detection and Mapping of Water Hyacinth Growth Cycle in Anzali International Wetland Using Sentinel-2 Time Series

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Water hyacinth (WH) is a notorious invasive species that significantly threatens ecosystems worldwide. Despite WH's well-documented threats and effects, its spatial distribution is not yet fully understood, especially in complex environments such ...

Perspective on Aqueous Batteries: Historical Milestones and Modern Revival

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review retraces the development of aqueous batteries from classical Zn‐MnO2 chemistry to modern Zn and Ni systems, correlating voltage, capacity, and electrolyte formulation with practical performance. By mapping historical success and failure onto current and future research directions, it identifies guiding principles that steer the design of ...
