Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Numerical simulation on 90° impact test of aluminium alloy wheel with the effect of tyre
Car wheels are crucial to automobile safety, requiring a rigorous test before production. A 90° impact test simulates the frontal impact and its influences on the wheel structure, replicating dynamic driving conditions.

Haversian canal structures can be associated with size effects in cortical bone [PDF]
Prediction of periprosthetic failure may be improved by an improved model of bone elasticity which includes microstructural information. Micropolar theory facilitates such information to be included in a continuum model.

Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Experiments with a Malkus-Lorenz water wheel: Chaos and Synchronization
We describe a simple experimental implementation of the Malkus-Lorenz water wheel. We demonstrate that both chaotic and periodic behavior is found as wheel parameters are changed in agreement with predictions from the Lorenz model.

Multidimensional Profiling of MRI‐Negative Temporal Lobe Epilepsy Uncovers Distinct Phenotypes
ABSTRACT Objective Although hippocampal sclerosis (TLE‐HS) represents the most frequent cause of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE), up to 30% of patients show no lesion on visual MRI inspection (TLE‐MRIneg). These cases pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges and are underrepresented in surgical series.

Objective Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a severe extra‐articular manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This study aimed to externally validate a genetic risk score (GRS) and a combined risk score (CRS) for predicting the risk of RA‐associated PF in an independent cohort of patients with early RA.

Analysis of wheel and rail Hertzian and Non-Hertzian contact theories using UM software considering the effect of rail inclination on wheel wear [PDF]
Wheel-rail interaction has always been one of the issues in the railway industry. In this paper, the effect of Hertzian and non-Hertzian contact theories on the wheel wear due to the rail inclination was investigated. by using the UM software.
