Degradation of acrylic copolymers by white-rot fungi
Various water-soluble homopolymers and copolymers of acrylamide (AAm) and acrylic acid (AA) which contained phenolic sites, such as guaiacol, lignin sulfonate (LS) and 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid (3,4-DHBA), were tested with regard to their degradability by white-rot fungi.

Adverse effects of grapevine trunk diseases on canes produced from infected rootstock mother blocks
High incidences of GTD pathogens in rootstock mother vine heads, with Phaeomoniella chlamydospora and Diplodia seriata affecting cane physiology and quality. One‐year‐old canes harbor systemic inoculum, highlighting the need for careful monitoring and management.

Degradation of CL-20 by white-rot fungi
In previous studies, we found that the emerging energetic chemical, CL-20 (C6H6N12O12, 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane), can be degraded following its initial denitration using both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. The C and N mass balances were not determined due to the absence of labeled starting compounds. The present study

Biodegradation of plastics by white-rot fungi: A review
Plastic pollution is one of the most environmental problems in the last two centuries, because of their excessive usage and their rapidly increasing production, which overcome the ability of natural degradation. Moreover, this problem become an escalating environmental issue caused by inadequate disposal, ineffective or nonexistent waste collection ...
