In the last decade, the interest in both Green Analytical Chemistry and White Analytical Chemistry has been grown by scientists and legislative authorities because of the environmental impact of traditional analytical methods. The goal of these fields is to design and implement analytical processes, as well as to develop chemicals or materials aimed to

ABSTRACTMirabegron, a drug for treatment of overactive bladder, has low water solubility and bioavailability. Researchers used quality by design to develop and characterize second‐generation lipid nanocarriers for mirabegron, aiming to provide spatially and temporally sustained drug release. Numerous analytical methodologies for assessing mirabegron in

An analytical quality by design-guided LC-ICP-MS method for simultaneous arsenic speciation analysis in HEK-293 cells was optimized and validated. Initially, critical method variables (CMVs) were identified to achieve the targeted critical quality attribute (CQA) of the analytical target profile (ATP).

Green Analytical Chemistry (GAC) has matured from a conceptual add-on into a quantifiable design criterion for methods used in the quantitative estimation of pharmaceuticals. Over the past decade, more than ten distinct greenness-assessment tools have emerged — from the qualitative National Environmental Method Index (NEMI, 2008) to fully quantitative,
