An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

Reduction of white coat effect by cilnidipine in essential hypertension [PDF]
American Journal of Hypertension, 2001 Stress elevates blood pressure (BP) by increased sympathetic nerve activity. Cilnidipine, a novel dihydropyridine calcium antagonist that has inhibitory actions on N-type as well as L-type voltage-dependent calcium channels, has been reported to attenuate the cold stress-induced increase in plasma norepinephrine and BP in rats.
