Bidirectional Associations Between Seborrheic Dermatitis and Epithelial Barrier Diseases: A Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
This study explores the bidirectional associations between SD and EBDs in a cohort of 5,083,689 individuals in a US administrative claims database. Positive bidirectional associations were found between SD and many EBDs of the skin, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and ocular surfaces. Our results support the EBT as a shared driver of EBD pathogenesis at

The Therapeutic Potential of Farm Dust Extracts in a Mouse Model of Eosinophilic Inflammation

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
Farm dust extract (FDE) treatment reduces airway eosinophilia, mucus overproduction, and MHC‐II expression on DCs, limiting antigen presentation and Th2 inflammation. It increases PD‐L1 on DCs, promoting T cell deactivation. Additionally, FDE enhances Tregs and upregulates CTLA‐4, reinforcing suppression.

Cardiac dysfunction during adverse maternal outcomes in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
In pregnancies complicated by hypertensive disorders, peripartum adverse maternal outcomes are associated with diastolic cardiac dysfunction. Elevated E/e' ratio and left atrial volume index highlight the need for targeted cardiovascular monitoring and long‐term follow‐up.

Adhesion molecules in the maternal–fetal interface in healthy pregnancies and preeclampsia

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
This study revealed elevated levels of adhesion molecules in the maternal circulation and reduced levels in the fetal circulation in preeclampsia. The findings suggest systemic maternal endothelial dysfunction in preeclampsia. Lower fetal adhesion molecule levels warrant further study. Abstract Introduction Adhesion molecules are markers of endothelial
