First-passage time of Duffing oscillator under combined harmonic and white-noise excitations

open access: yes, 2003
The first-passage time of Duffing oscillator under combined harmonic and white-noise excitations is studied. The equation of motion of the system is first reduced to a set of averaged Ito stochastic differential equations by using the stochastic ...

Optical soliton perturbation for complex Ginzburg–Landau equation with multiplicative white noise and seven forms of Kudryashov’s self–phase modulation structures

open access: yesJournal of Taibah University for Science
This paper investigates, for the first time, the recovery of optical solitons governed by the perturbed complex Ginzburg–Landau equation with multiplicative white noise.

Flexible Dielectric Acoustic Resonator Patch for Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A flexible dielectric acoustic resonator patch enables MHz‐range ultrasound generation through resonance amplification without using piezoelectric materials. Conformal integration on a curved substrate allows efficient acoustic delivery to tissue‐mimicking environments.

White Noise Representation of Earthquakes

open access: yesJournal of the Engineering Mechanics Division, 1960
White-noise source used in conjunction with analog computer is convenient method of analyzing structures subjected to complex ground motions and of assigning probabilities to deformations arising; it is suggested that "standard large earthquake" be represented by "white" ground accelerations having flat spectral density of 0.75 ft\U2\N/sec\U4\N/cps and

Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Jet noise : aeroacoustic distribution of a subsonic co-axial jet [PDF]

open access: yes
The noise generated by aircraft can be easily heard by those living under the flight path of passenger or cargo carriers. It is considered an environmental pollutant and is treated as such by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) who ...

Large‐Area 2D Metasurface‐Based Triboelectric E‐Skin Arrays: Contact & Proximity Tactile Mapping with Broadband Acoustic Readouts

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metasurface‐engineered NC‐TENG arrays integrate tactile pressure mapping, non‐contact gesture sensing, and acoustic signal readouts in one ultrathin module, and outperforms pristine PDMS in terms of electrical output and real‐time spatial mapping for next‐gen wearables.

Analysis of generalized Lévy white noise functionals

open access: yes, 2004
Employing the Segal–Bargmann transform (S-transform for abbreviation) of regular Lévy white noise functionals, we define and study the generalized Lévy white noise functionals by means of their functional representations acting on test functionals.

Direct Synthesis of High‐Valence Protein@UiO‐66 Composites: Linking Crystallization Pathways to Protein Encapsulation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work reports a direct, biocompatible method to synthesize UiO‐66, enabling one‐step encapsulation of proteins without compromising crystallinity or activity. Using advanced in situ and ex situ techniques, the study reveals that proteins integrate concurrently with MOF growth, forming crystalline protein@UiO‐66 nanoparticles, and provide insight ...

All‐Optical Reconfigurable Physical Unclonable Function for Sustainable Security

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐optical reconfigurable physical unclonable function (PUF) is demonstrated using plasmonic coupling–induced sintering of optically trapped gold nanoparticles, where Brownian motion serves as a robust entropy source. The resulting optical PUF exhibits high encoding density, strong resistance to modeling attacks, and practical authentication ...
