Wavelet transforms associated with the index Whittaker transform

Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2021
The continuous wavelet transform (CWT) associated with the index Whittaker transform is defined and discussed using its convolution theory. Existence theorem and reconstruction formula for CWT are obtained. Moreover, composition of CWT is discussed, and its Plancherel's and Parseval's relations are also derived.

Generalization of Titchmarsh's theorem for the modified Whittaker transform

Integral Transforms and Special Functions, 2022
In this paper, using the generalized Whittaker translation established by Sousa et al., we shall prove a generalization version of Titchmarsh's theorem for the modified Whittaker transform for functions satisfying the Whittaker-Lipschitz condition in the

Bernstein-nikolskii-stechkin inequality and Jackson’s theorem for the index Whittaker transform

ANNALI DELL'UNIVERSITA' DI FERRARA, 2023
In this paper, the author considers the index Whittaker transform given by \[ F_W(f)(\lambda)=\int_0^{+\infty}f(x)K_\alpha(\lambda,x)d\mu_\alpha(x)\,,\quad\lambda\geq0,\quad f\in\mathrm{L}^1(\mu_\alpha), \] where \(\mu_\alpha\) is a weight Lebesgue measure and \(K_\alpha(\lambda,x)\) is the so-called index Whittaker kernel. The author defines the index

A whittaker transform over a half-line

Integral Transforms and Special Functions, 2001
An integral transform with Whittaker functions as a kernel is introduced. It is shown that the transform is related to a singular Sturm-Liouville problem on a half-line. Plancherel and Paley-Wiener type theorems for the transform are given.
