Construction of Generalized k-Bessel–Maitland Function with Its Certain Properties
The main motive of this study is to present a new class of a generalized k-Bessel–Maitland function by utilizing the k-gamma function and Pochhammer k-symbol.

Integral transforms of an extended generalized multi-index Bessel function
In this paper, we discuss the extended generalized multi-index Bessel function by using the extended beta type function. Then we investigate its several properties including integral representation, derivatives, beta transform, Laplace transform, Mellin ...

A Unifying Principle in the Theory of Modular Relations
The Voronoĭ summation formula is known to be equivalent to the functional equation for the square of the Riemann zeta function in case the function in question is the Mellin tranform of a suitable function.

Mellin Transforms of Whittaker Functions [PDF]
AbstractIn this note we show that for an arbitrary reductive Lie group and any admissible irreducible Banach representation the Mellin transforms of Whittaker functions extend to meromorphic functions. We locate the possible poles and show that they always lie along translates of walls of Weyl chambers.

Jacobi elliptic coordinates, functions of Heun and Lame type and the Niven transform [PDF]
Lame and Heun functions arise via separation of the Laplace equation in general Jacobi ellipsoidal or conical coordinates. In contrast to hypergeometric functions that also arise via variable separation in the Laplace equation, Lame and Heun functions ...

Whittaker limits of difference spherical functions [PDF]
We introduce the (global) q-Whittaker function as the limit at t=0 of the q,t-spherical function extending the symmetric Macdonald polynomials to arbitrary eigenvalues. The construction heavily depends on the technique of the q-Gaussians developed by the

The calculation of expectations for classes of diffusion processes by Lie symmetry methods [PDF]
This paper uses Lie symmetry methods to calculate certain expectations for a large class of It\^{o} diffusions. We show that if the problem has sufficient symmetry, then the problem of computing functionals of the form $E_x(e^{-\lambda X_t-\int_0^tg(X_s)

Interconversion of Prony series for relaxation and creep [PDF]
Various algorithms have been proposed to solve the interconversion equation of linear viscoelasticity when Prony series are used for the relaxation and creep moduli, G(t) and J(t).

Laplace transform of certain functions with applications
The Laplace transform of the functions tν(1+t)β, Reν>−1, is expressed in terms of Whittaker functions. This expression is exploited to evaluate infinite integrals involving products of Bessel functions, powers, exponentials, and Whittaker functions. Some

Equations in dual variables for Whittaker functions [PDF]
It is known that the Whittaker functions $w(q,\lambda)$ associated to the group SL(N) are eigenfunctions of the Hamiltonians of the open Toda chain, hence satisfy a set of differential equations in the Toda variables $q_i$.
