Programmable luminescent platform based on carbon quantum dots enables wavelength‐multiplexed optical data storage and encryption

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
A carbon‐quantum‐dots (CQDs)‐based programmable luminescent platform is proposed for multidimensional optical information encryption and high‐capacity data storage by leveraging wavelength‐division multiplexing. Furthermore, a prototype tri‐layer optical disk is demonstrated, where data written via laser ablation on different CQD layers are retrieved ...

Spirobifluorene fusion in multiple resonance frameworks enables efficient pure‐red OLEDs with narrowband emission and suppressed efficiency roll‐off

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
An orthogonal spirobifluorene‐fusion strategy is introduced for B/N/O‐alternated MR frameworks, enabling improved kRISC (5.46 × 103 s−1), high ΦPL (97%), and narrow‐band pure‐red emission. Vacuum‐evaporated OLEDs incorporating this emitter achieve an EQEmax >40% (FWHM = 36 nm) and exhibit exceptionally low efficiency roll‐off at high luminance ...

Patternable Stimuli‐Responsive Perovskite Fiber Membranes for Underwater Anti‐Counterfeiting and Information Encryption

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Materials, EarlyView.
Dual‐ligand‐modified perovskite fiber membranes achieve reversible, water‐triggered fluorescence switching with high environmental stability, enabling dynamic optical encryption and anti‐counterfeiting in moisture‐rich or water environments. ABSTRACT All‐inorganic lead halide perovskites are favored for next‐generation optoelectronic devices due to ...

Colorful Image Colorization

open access: yes, 2016
Given a grayscale photograph as input, this paper attacks the problem of hallucinating a plausible color version of the photograph. This problem is clearly underconstrained, so previous approaches have either relied on significant user interaction or ...

High‐Efficiency Phosphor Thin Films With Controlled Lateral Displacement for Low Color Crosstalk in Micro‐LED Displays

open access: yesJournal of the Society for Information Display, EarlyView.
High‐efficiency nano‐phosphor thin films were developed for micro‐LED color conversion, achieving high quantum efficiency and reduced lateral photon displacement. The optimized film structure effectively suppresses color crosstalk and enables high‐performance, full‐color micro‐LED displays.
