Wideband semielliptical monopole antenna
2011 - MILCOM 2011 Military Communications Conference, 2011A printed semi-elliptical monopole fed by a grounded coplanar waveguide is investigated as a low-profile, light-weight, wideband radiator. Two methods of improving the impedance match at higher frequencies without increasing the occupied volume are reported.

Body-coupled, wideband antennas
2015 IEEE Biomedical Circuits and Systems Conference (BioCAS), 2015In this paper we present antenna solutions for maximizing microwave energy release into the human body. Reflections from the body surface are avoided by coupling the antennas to the body using low-loss ceramic composites. Both 3D and 2D antenna topologies are explored for transcutaneous radar measurements.
