Effect of Different Working Settings of Sandblasting on Resin Composite Repair Bond Strength
To investigate the effect of different sandblasting settings on the shear bond strength (SBS) in the repair of resin composite, specimens (resin composite, enamel, and dentin; each group n = 16) were sandblasted by varying the parameters of air pressure (

Fatty Acid Profiling of Fish Fin Tissues: Implications for Non‐Lethal Sampling Methods
Fatty acid (FA) profiling is vital for assessing fish health, diet, food web functioning, yet lethal sampling poses ethical and conservation challenges. This study demonstrates that adipose and outer‐caudal fin tissues strongly correlate with muscle tissue in FA composition and concentration, offering reliable non‐lethal alternatives.

ABSTRACT Transcranial photobiomodulation (tPBM) has been employed for cognitive enhancement in healthy individuals. This study aimed to investigate the effects of tPBM applied bilaterally over the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) on convergent thinking (CT), divergent thinking (DT), and the Stroop test.

The Rubber Pendulum, the Joule Effect, and the Dynamic Stress-Strain Curve
General Description.—The rubber pendulum is one of two devices (Wiegand, Trans. Inst. Rubber Ind., 1, 141 (1925)) which, by employing the Joule effect, constitute rubber heat engines in that they continuously convert heat into mechanical work. In Fig.

Advancing Heliophysics and Space Weather Modeling Through Open Science
Abstract We present a community‐wide effort to develop a strategy and action plan to advance heliophysics and space weather modeling through open science. While open science has the potential to enhance the quality and pace of scientific discovery, its application to scientific modeling requires more careful consideration regarding open data and open ...

Recommendations for Advancing Heliophysics and Space Weather Modeling Through Open Science
Abstract Numerical models are essential for advancing fundamental research in heliophysics and for operational forecasting of space weather events. Open science can accelerate progress, but applying an open science approach to numerical models requires careful consideration; models are not data analysis software and often demand substantial domain ...
