STABILITY OF FACTORIZATION FACTORS OF WIENER–HOPF FACTORIZATION OF MATRIX FUNCTION
We consider the Wiener–Hopf factorization of two matrix functions A(t) and B(t) that are quite close in the norm of the Wiener algebra. The aim of this work is to study the question when the factorization factors of A(t), B(t) will be close enough to each other.

Clutter rank estimation for the multistage Wiener filter
The authors propose an algorithm that determines the rank of the sea clutter and relates it to the number of stages in the multistage Wiener filter. The algorithm presented is formulated as a model order estimation problem that utilises the minimum description length (MDL).

This paper investigates Mittag–Leffler synchronization (MLSY) for variable‐order fractional Gierer–Meinhardt reaction‐diffusion systems (VFO‐GM‐RDs). We introduce, for the first time, a distributed control scheme specifically designed to achieve MLSY in these complex systems. A key contribution is the derivation of an explicit analytical expression for

The analysis of diffraction by a semi‐infinite parallel‐plate waveguide with partial material loading is rigorously carried out using the Wiener–Hopf technique for the H‐polarised plane wave incidence. The authors present representative numerical examples of the radar cross section for various physical parameters and discuss the far‐field scattering ...

Solving Wiener–Hopf problems without kernel factorization [PDF]
A new approach to solving problems of Wiener–Hopf type is expounded by showing its implementation in two concrete and typical examples from fluid mechanics. The new method adapts mathematical ideas underlying the so-called unified transform method due to A. S. Fokas and collaborators in recent years. The method has the key advantage of avoiding what is

Evaluating the influence of marine protected areas on surf zone fish
Abstract Marine protected areas (MPAs) globally serve conservation and fisheries management goals, generating positive effects in some marine ecosystems. Surf zones and sandy beaches, critical ecotones bridging land and sea, play a pivotal role in the life cycles of numerous fish species and serve as prime areas for subsistence and recreational fishing.

Abstract figure legend Understanding cardiomyocyte stiffness components is an important priority for identifying new therapeutics for diastolic dysfunction, a key feature of cardiometabolic disease. In this study cardiac function was measured in vivo (echocardiography) for mice fed a high‐fat/sugar diet (HFSD, ≥25 weeks). Performance of intact isolated

The uniqueness of the Wiener–Hopf factorisation of Lévy processes and random walks
Abstract We prove that the spatial Wiener–Hopf factorisation of a Lévy process or random walk without killing is unique.

Bott‐integrable Reeb flows on 3‐manifolds
Abstract This paper is devoted to studying a notion of Bott integrability for Reeb flows on contact 3‐manifolds. We show, in analogy with work of Fomenko–Zieschang on Hamiltonian flows in dimension 4, that Bott‐integrable Reeb flows exist precisely on graph manifolds.

Response Analysis of Projectile System Under Gaussian Noise Excitation Using Path Integral Method
During flight, projectiles are subject to uncertainties such as aerodynamic forces, wind gusts, and measurement errors; all of which significantly affect their stability and accuracy. As a result, studying the response of projectile systems under stochastic excitation is essential.
