Contrasted habitat selection among Eurasian curlew populations according to landscape heterogeneity and breeding stage

open access: yesThe Journal of Wildlife Management, EarlyView.
This study aimed to quantify the spatio‐temporal use of breeding environments by the Eurasian curlew in 5 contrasting agricultural landscapes. To this end, 64 individuals were tagged with GPS devices to assess their space use according to their breeding stages and define their foraging habitat selection.

Patient‐specific psychological characteristics and personality structure affect functional outcomes after surgical stabilization of acute and chronic acromioclavicular joint injuries

open access: yesKnee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose The purpose of the study was to evaluate the impact of psychological factors on functional outcomes of patients undergoing isolated acromioclavicular joint (ACJ) stabilization for acute and chronic ACJ injuries. Methods Patients who underwent ACJ stabilization between January 2015 and December 2021 and had a minimum follow‐up of 2 ...

Impact of Nitrogen Deposition on Carbon and Nitrogen Cycling in Peatlands Under Land‐Use Change

open access: yesLand Degradation &Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Increasing nitrogen (N) deposition significantly alters carbon and N dynamics in peatlands by affecting microbial processes, enhancing greenhouse gas emissions and nutrient leaching into adjacent waters. However, how peatland conversion for agriculture and forestry influences the fate of added N under elevated atmospheric deposition remains ...

Breaking the Exponential: Decoherence‐Driven Power‐Law Spontaneous Emission in Waveguide Quantum Electrodynamics

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Introducing dynamical dephasing into the photon modes of a waveguide causes spontaneous emission to switch from conventional exponential decay to a robust power‐law behavior visible at short times. The power law arises from photon diffusion in a dynamically disordered environment, uncovering a previously unexplored, decoherence‐induced pathway to ...

Mode‐Locked Pulse Generation in Plasmonic Lattices

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
The plasmonic superlattices overlaid with optically pumped organic molecules produce multimode lasing due to mid‐range radiative coupling (MR‐RC, lambda) and long‐range radiative coupling (LR‐RC, 10 lambda). Right: The mode locking emerges spontaneously due to the shared excited state molecular populations which may emit photons to various different ...
